Kensey is a traditional Cornish farmhouse. It takes its name from the river Kensey, a tributary of the river Tamar, and its source is to be found on the fields behind the house. It is one of four farmhouses on the 590 acre Kyrse farm.

Enter the property via a covered porch with a comfy bench seat and room for hiking and Wellington boots into a large well fitted kitchen with a working aga, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher as well as a separate utility a washer/dryer and a large pantry which was originally a dairy. The hallway leads directly to the back covered porch and garden. There are a further two separate rooms on the ground floor one of which is a dining room just off the kitchen which can comfortably seat six and a bright living room. Both these rooms have beautiful bay windows giving lovely views of the farmland and benefit from working open fires.
Upstairs are three double bedrooms. one comprises of a king size bed and two have doubles but these two can also have twin beds giving guests a flexible choice of how they wish to use the rooms. There is also a small children’s hangout/den with a television, bean bags and games.

Outside there is ample off road parking and a safe walled garden laid mainly of artificial grass to ensure it can be used all year round. There is outside seating and a barbecue, the perfect place to enjoy a drink whilst admiring the peaceful rural views.
